The state cabinet of the BJP government in Karnataka will soon will have ignominy of effectively having its meeting in the Central Jail. With five of its ministers plus the former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa already under judicial custody, it is not a far fetched prognosis said the activists demanding the resignation of R. Ashok who is currently the state’s Home minister. He is currently under investigation for the land denotification scam.
It may be recalled that the socialism.in and Dudiyora Horaata papers had been categorical in saying that this corrupt and communal govt. must go immediately. Today the New Socialist Alternative (CWI-India) joined other progressive forces in demanding the resignation of the accused minister.
