‘People’s World Cup’ Occupation- Zindabad, Zindabad!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n MTST- Roofless Workers Movement of Brazil-Zindabad, Zindabad!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n These above chants of slogans against FIFA Mafia was at its highest pitch despite the small number of protesters because of the incessant rain that came our way. There were about 20 people, women & men who braved the weather and joined the solidarity protest in support of the ‘People’s World Cup ‘ Occupation at Itaquera in Brazil.<\/span><\/p>\n There were at least fifteen people who sent Text messages apologizing for not joining the event due to heavy rains in the city of Bangalore. Nevertheless, the few youth from Colleges, research organisations, two full timers from the Garment Labour Union, human rights activists, theatre activists joined the protest. A youth activist Chandu from the neighbouring town: Doddaballapura, responded to the Text message and joined the protest in spite of the inclement weather, he spoke at the protest along with the comrades of New Socialist Alternative<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n Perhaps in the entire country of India, it was New Socialist Alternative<\/strong><\/em> (CWI-India)<\/em> that publicly protested the FIFA Mafia and showed support to the Protests in Brazil.<\/span><\/p>\n We stand by the Working People of Brazil and are unequivocally against the FIFA Mafia and the anti people Brazilian government.<\/span><\/p>\n Jagadish G Chandra<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Bangalore<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We\u00a0brought out the following leaflet for the Solidarity Protest:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
