Video: LTTE to bounce back if defeated by Lankan army – Siritunga Jayasurya
The following video is is an interview with Siritunga Jayasuriya, the leader of Sri Lanka’s United Socialist Party (CWI-Sri Lanka), who was on a visit to India in February and March of this year to campaign against the war against the Tamils in Sri Lanka. According to Siri, LTTE will retaliate if the Sri Lankan army wins the military war against them. He asserted this in Chennai, by contending the military action against the LTTE is not the permanent solution unlike a dialogue between the Sri Lankan Government and the LTTE.

Stop the war in Sri Lanka: Protest at India House
SHOUTING “NOT a rupee, not a bullet for the Rajapakse government”, 100 protesters marched around India House on the Aldwych in London.
This was part of the international day of action on 8 April called by Stop the Slaughter of Tamils (SST) campaign, to end the war and fight for democracy in Sri Lanka.

(Siritunga Jayasuriya, currently the General Secretary of the United Socialist Party (USP) recently visited India. One of the voices in Sri Lanka who have refused to be terrorised into silence, Mr. Jayasuriya has been campaigning against the ongoing war in Sri Lanka. He contested the 2006 presidential elections in Sri Lanka against the money and muscle power of both SLFP & UNP, and came a creditable third out of the 11 candidates in the fray polling around 36, 000 votes.
